Sharing Stories & Stresses

The CHPC Nurses Group invites you to join together for an hour of ‘Sharing Stories and Stresses’.
- Meet with friends and colleagues from across Canada for an informal sharing of stories and stresses in this time of COVID-19. The purpose of this gathering is to provide a safe place to connect, support and learn from one another.
- Exchange perspectives and experiences about the implications of COVID-19 for palliative care nursing
- This meeting will be held using a secured Zoom chat room
- You are welcome to share your stories or simply be present.
- A list of resources related to “Self-Care and Resiliency – strategies for coping” is compiled and will be provided following the meeting.
This gathering will be moderated by Kath Murray and Facilitated by Michelle O’Rourke
- Kath Murray is a long-standing CHPCNG member and current member on the CHPCNG Board (Director at Large, External Relations). She is passionate about education and resources that increase the capacity of the individual and the community.
- Michelle O’Rourke is a long-standing CHPCNG member. She has a background in Emergency Nursing, Parish Nursing and Palliative Care and is a sought after speaker and workshop presenter. She is the author of ‘Befriending Death’ and ‘Embracing the End of Life’, and has just released her new book, ‘Healthy Caregiving: Perspectives for Caring Professionals.’

- Space is limited 25 persons per meeting
- If you are not able to attend this session, please RSVP with times and dates that will work for you in the future. We are trying to accommodate as many persons as possible
