Consultant, Serious Illness Conversation Initiative

Elizabeth is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and has worked in the field of palliative care as a clinician, instructor, and researcher. She worked as a registered nurse at the BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver and at Auckland General Hospital in New Zealand. She was the palliative care coordinator for a rural community in BC, a nursing instructor for the University of Victoria, an advanced practice nurse with the Vancouver Cancer Centre Pain and Symptom Management/Palliative Care Team, and a clinical nurse specialist with the Palliative Care Program at Vancouver General Hospital. Currently she is a consultant with BC Centre for Palliative Care on the Serious Illness Conversation initiative and an adjunct professor with the School of Nursing at UBC.
