Communicating with Patients and Families during COVID-19

This Virtual Office Hour is free and open to all, but space is limited. Sessions will be added on an ongoing basis.
This session will provide an opportunity for the palliative care community to discuss how to navigate communication challenges presented at this time due to COVID-19. Ask questions and discuss how to talk about some difficult topics. Questions during this session may include:
- What are some best practices with regard to anticipating needs and concerns when we do not have all of the answers at this time?
- How do I respond in situations when emotions are running high?
- What advice and guidance are there for responding to concerns related to having limited resources?
