Public Policy & Advocacy for Serious Illness Care
April 15, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am PDT
Event hosted by: Ariadne Labs
Join us for a panel discussion about the intersection of serious illness care, palliative care, advanced care planning, and public policy. Moderator, Jane Conrad, Serious Illness Care Ambassador and Patient Advocate, will share her experience as a caregiver and patient advocate. Panelists Paul Tatum and Phil Rogers will share their experience as leaders in Palliative Care-related Public Policy. Together, they will discuss the landscape of policy and advocacy for serious illness care to inform the audience about how policy impacts clinical care and patient experience, and strategies to get involved in advocacy at various levels.
(Please note this seminar is hosted out of the United States and therefor some information will be different than what exists in BC)
