The Impact of COVID-Related Grief on Palliative Care Clinicians

In this Master Clinician, Dr. Hanbury, a trauma psychology specialist, will present a framework for understanding loss and grief. After outlining natural responses to loss, Dr. Hanbury will listen to stories from several palliative care clinicians who are experiencing the emotional toll of COVID-19. He will offer guidance for a healthy response to these feelings, and then address questions from the audience. The dialogue between the presenter and participants will provide insight for everyone feeling the tremendous emotional impact of the pandemic.
