When we launched our Grief & Bereavement ECHO series for the Advance Palliative Psychosocial BC Community of Practice in January, we were overwhelmed with the response! It was very clear that this was topic of interest to the Community of Practice, and our 50 seats were soon a sell-out.
Now half-way through our six-session series, the sessions have been a productive time for participants to learn and grow together. So far, the group has covered Practitioner Grief and Loss, Guilt and Grief and the Imprint of Traumatic Stress.
For these sessions, the majority of time has been spent in breakout rooms with a facilitator to guide discussion through selected questions. Through these conversations, participants share clinical experiences, recommendations, thoughtful reflections, and approaches, tools, and resources they use from which to learn and grow.

As the Provincial Palliative Hub for ECHO, the BCCPC ECHO team is grateful to the psychosocial palliative care leaders who are part of our hub team.
