11 community organizations will receive $5000 in grant funds

Cycle 5 of BCCPC’s Seed Grant funding has awarded $5000 to each of 11 community organizations from across BC. This cycle of funding – “The All Together – Spreading the Seeds of Community Innovation” Grant Program – focuses on supporting compassionate communities in the development and support of programming in grief and bereavement, psychosocial supports, social isolation and practical supports, and advanced care planning.
Of note this year, the program has emphasized new and innovative programming to meet emerging community needs. The Centre is excited to work with community organizations on the forefront of trailblazing programming.

4. Compassionate Neighbourhood Health Partners Society
5. Cortes Community Health Association
6. Cowichan Hospice Society
7. Cranbrook Kimberly Hospice Society
8. Galiano Health Care Hospice Society
9. Hospice Society of the Columbia Valley
10. Lumara Grief & Bereavement Society
11. Sea to Sky Hospice Society
